The foreign companies can hire people according to current regulations regarding foreigners, their needs and legal situation with these people.
- Foreign nationals of a Community system (national European Union, European Economic Area and their families) do not need any special permission for hiring.
- Foreign nationals of non-community may be hired by companies who need to fill certain jobs. In order to hire foreign nationals is required to comply with certain requirements and follow established procedures. A difference is the procedure for the recruitment of persons authorized to stay in Spain of that power has to be compulsorily recruited into their countries of origin.
